Mirror’s Edge’s (literally) Dizzying Gameplay

While I don’t own a 360, one of the games I’m most excited to play (hopefully soon) is Mirror’s Edge. The frenetic parkour-style evasion game really seems to deliver on a lot of the truly “next-gen” experiences that we’ve been promised since… well, since Kameo. 🙂

But, one of the issues that’s been discussed quite a bit since the game’s first previews, is the fact that when playing, you are going to be prone to bouts of nausea. Clive Thompson of WIRED.com takes a swing (and I think hits something important) at why this may be the case, and why Mirror’s Edge is truly a milestone in the first-person genre.
